Brand photoshoot for holistic therapist Yuen Li

Let me introduce you

A multi stories brand photoshoot with Yuen Li Holistic Health in her treatment room in Leigh on Sea, Essex.

I’m also Yuen’s client, so I know what an amazing therapist she is. Her treatment list is vast but what I love about the way she works is, she truly offers you what you need, intuitively. And let’s face it, sometimes I don’t really know what I need myself, so it’s good feeling to know that she does.

The photoshoot

Yuen is currently rebranding and she wanted these photos to capture the fundamental elements of her business:

  • Sound healing
  • Reflexology
  • Client treatment
  • Aromatherapy/Oil blending/Candle making
  • Crystals

Yuen wanted her images to show her own, unique way of working with clients and the focus was to capture images that are hands on, yet creative within her own space, images that shows energetic connection to her clients but also her own journey of discovery.

We started the 3hr photoshoot with shooting a short film of gong and sound therapy before our 2 lovely models arrived. We finished by wandering off to nearby fields to capture few photos in nature, that felt spacious and grounding.

The short film

The film was all about feeling the sound and vibration of the mighty gong, the immersion within, tickle of senses, it was real magic to experience.

Yuen’s treatments involve vibrational and sound healing practices and having experienced it personally, it’s such a beautiful addition to finish relaxing treatment in The Healing Room in Leigh on Sea.

In conclusion

Yuen’s final gallery included over 130 photos that are a mixture of headshots, flatlays, detailed shots as well as images with negative space that can be used in variety of ways and graphic designs and short film.
