Milestone sessions are the perfect way to document those big or small stages your baby experiences, the biggest changes happening in their first year.

These are short, assuring baby doesn’t tire out, as all the attention requires loads of energy. 

Depending on their age and time of year, these sessions can be beautifully captured outdoors, as well as indoors. Siblings and parents are very welcome to participate in the session and if you have a special memories with your baby that you would like to preserve like breastfeeding or baby-wearing, we can include these within the session too.

It is very important to set the time of the session around baby’s nap and mealtimes because happy baby really means happy photos.

Although lunchtime is not the most ideal time for outdoor photoshoot, especially when the sun is shining, there are options and even one tree can offer enough shade to do some lovely shots and add depth with backlit hair.

This photoshoot was to capture Lyra at 7 months old and her big sister joined in the fun, as well as Charlie, an old and friendly Labrador passing on his daily walk, saving the day by helping me to capture them together smiling in the end when these two blue-eyed beauties lit up watching him sniffling my face whilst photographing them and here is the result 🙂 Thank you Charlie! xx
