What winter brand photoshoot looks like

Big personality, fun and bit of glamour.
I always say I have lots of fun at brand shoots, but I really mean it. I actually don’t think there could be any other way.
Today, I’m sharing the first full brand photoshoot of 2022 and it shows that even in the middle of January, days could be beautifully sunny, even though it was absolutely freezing!
Let’s talk about what we planned and how it pan out.
Susan is a coach and a mindset and business strategist.
When we were looking at the right location, Susan suggested that she would come to Leigh on Sea, Essex as she wanted light, natural and freeing space for her backdrop and beach seemed like the perfect place. She also wanted some photos indoors and Roslin – a spa hotel on the beach offered the space and feel she was after. She booked an overnight stay & treatment after her shoot (well deserved). But to me, it also positioned her right there with her message she wanted to convey through her images – what is possible for women to have, feel and achieve.

For ease, we split our time together into 3 parts.
The hotel room was beautifully decorated with colour palette that was just perfect for Susan’s brand. We mostly concentrated on working images and it’s where we also shot her short video.
Sunny day in winter always gives such incredible light – even at midday. Layered outfit was a great way to change the look of her outfit without needing to change on the beach. The outdoor part of the shoot is always the most freeing and creative experience and we even tried for a fun gif.
We wrapped up the shoot back in the hotel with a sip of champagne.
It was such fun experience. It didn’t take much to make Susan laugh but it is her passion and energy that I love how it shines through her images.
