Headshot day in March 2022 in Leigh on Sea

You may be a start up and need a few images to start showing up or a seasoned business owner who wants to update their content with seasonal portraits. You may be short on time or budget but need couple of professional headshots for your social media profile image, About me page or make a great impression on your CV or presentation.

Whoever you are, here is the opportunity for all businesses to have beautiful portraits to market themselves with. If you ever wondered if a mini headshot session is for you, I’ll be sharing the outcome of my last headshot day held in Leigh gardens and inside of Treasures on Sea – a local shop in heart of Leigh on Sea, Essex below.

Who got involved?

Charli

Charli runs few different businesses. And although she is my long term client for her local hub Do It Like A Mother, she wanted portraits that she could use for her other business Snuzzze and few project and an event she has in pipeline. She wanted her images to feel honest, open and approachable.

Holly

Holly is founder and author of Picture-This books. Amongst general update on her social media and website, she also wanted to update her portrait on the back of her next book. Holly had lots of fun ideas for her photos and brought her books and few props to include in the shoot. She wanted her photos to feel authentic, imaginative and unique but also spacious to use them for something creative in post production.

Chloe

Chloe Westomore (you can find her on IG as _with_coco_ ) is a business focused on nurturing parents, carers and babies. She wanted her photos to feel charismatic, joyful and heart-centered. And although she wanted majority of her photos taken outdoors, her tiny little babe needed to feed and so I also took some candid shots to portray her motherhood journey which fits her brand perfectly.

Alison

Alison runs Elevator Arts which she founded in 2020 that delivers arts & drama projects for young people in Southend. They work closely with local charities and partners and their work is focused on supporting the mental health & wellbeing of vulnerable young people. She wanted her photos to feel informal but professional, inclusive and approachable, able to connect with young people.

I loved the variety of all the businesses involved, capturing different personalities, brand stories and what they say about the people.
